Cliffs and Castles

What a busy day of sightseeing!

After a quick breakfast this morning at our hotel in Ennis, we drove to the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs were beautiful. We took lots of pictures. And luckily enough we were early, so we beat the tour groups. We hiked a little bit beyond the path, and I learned that loamy soil doesn't feel so secure under your feet... those are some big drops.

Favorite thing today: stone ruins of buildings all around the island.

We also visited the Burren, which looks like a bunch of stone pavers. Very odd and beautiful. We visited the Pulnambrone Dolmen. Ancient. Cool. Weird.

Oh yeah. And a castle. Did I mention we saw an awesome castle?

We drove to our hotel, and now I'm out of time. More later.

Oh wait. I also saw a wild fox. And his dinner, half a deer.

Okay. The end for real.
