You know me.   Can't resist a questionnaire or a survey.  Tracy posted this, and then Katie.  So here goes.

A - Age:  30. Almost 31.

B - Bed size: Queen. We downsized two years ago to gain walking space (and now that space is filled with treadmill).

C - Chore you hate:  Laundry. Give me a stinky sink full of gross dishes any day. It's not the washing of the laundry that I mind. I love to wash clothes. I hate to transport them around the room, fold, and put away. Yeesh. Oh, and can I hate cleaning the shower too?

D - Dog's names:  Hurley.

E - Essential start your day item:  Green Monster.

F - Favorite color: Eight.

G - Gold or Silver or Platinum: I'm old school. GOLD.

H - Height:  5'7" of pure awesome.

I - Interesting fact about yourself: I was #11 in my high school class. All the hard work, none of the glory.

J - Jewelry you wear everyday: Wedding ring and nose ring (when I remember it).

K - Kids: Hanko and Miss Roodle, AKA Hank and Addie, AKA Henry Scott and Adele Marie.

L - Living arrangements: Perfectly-sized house in a less-than-perfect neighborhood.

M - Mom's name: Mary.

N- Nicknames: PDawg, P, Heath, Dude, Bob.

O - Overnight hospital stay other than birth: Addie birth, Henry's birth, and two years ago when Roo got so sick she had to have a feeding tube. The first two were better.

P - Pet Peeve: Kids who need too much attention. Gosh, that sounds awful. But I teach freshmen. Please understand. Also I really hate being able to hear and/or see E clip his toenails. Even writing about it... I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Q - Quote: This is where I go all type A trying to pick the right quote.  It's hard to pick one, mostly because I'm a collector of words.  I like this though: "Memory is a complicated thing, a relative to truth, but not its twin." ~Barbara Kingsolver, Animal Dreams. (I know, PDawg picked a Kingsolver quote. SHOCKER.)

R - Right handed or left handed: Righty.

S - Siblings: One sister, Lis.  She's like me, only prettier, more popular, lucky, and an extrovert.  So basically she's me in opposite land.

T - Time you wake up: Am I working out? Because then we're talking about 4:50 or so. If not, somewhere before 6:30. It really varies quite a bit by how much I have to do that morning and how cute I need to look.

U- Underwear: Well, it used to be one very specific thing from VS, but they went and ended the best product they ever started to sell. So now I'm on to Target cheapies. But they're working just fine and that's as much information as you're going to get out of me. Nosy.

V - Vegetable you dislike: I can't think of any. If you would have asked me up until about a year ago, I would have said cucumbers, which I thought tasted like soap, and bell peppers, which I thought tasted like acidic dirt. But this year I taught myself to eat them and now I like them. Proof cliches are true:  you're never to old to try something new!

W - Ways you run late: I get ready on time and then I wait around for E. He always thinks it's "only going to take him 5 minutes" so that's how much time he allots himself. Then it takes him an hour and I sit around in my pinchy shoes with my makeup melting off, getting impatient.

X - X-rays you've had: Probably most of my bones, I think, at some point or another. Nothing involving my brain bucket though.  I'm sure you're fascinated to hear the story about how I messed up the growth plate in my ankle as a tween.  (Only we didn't have that word, tween.  Gag me.)

Y - Yummy food you make: I've become really good at creating Gluten-free stuff that E can eat. And more adventurous with veggies. I can't think of a specialty, but my chocolate chip cookies are legendary in E's family. I just asked E and he said my tri tip. Here's the marinade he's talking about: Take some Worcestershire sauce and dump it in a Ziploc baggie. Then add some Gulden's spicy mustard and mix it around until it looks gross. Put the tri tip in and marinate. ENJOY.

Z - Zoo favorite: Giraffes.

I did this whole dang thing and I'm not that impressed with my answers.  I think the categories were a little bland.  Maybe I'll create my own set of A-Z topics... Hmmm...

  1. S - Thanks! Although I would disagree with a few...but you are sweet!

W - Sounds like our house...Darin also says the same thing and I'm almost always waiting around for him (after I get me and the three kids ready).

Z - That's my favority too. And Tyler says Giraffe so cute right'll have to go to the zoo with us some time to hear him.

  2. Yes, create your own A-Z list! I'll do it. :)

  3. S- One, she's not prettier. Two, as for popularity and extroversion, (is that a new word for you to collect?), did you see the Dancing Queens video? I saw a star, and apparently, someone who created a new annual event at school almost alone!

As for luckier, true. I think she got that from mom.

Finally, you have a really cool Dad, but I guess that didn't make the top 25. Bummer.

  4. @Dad yeah, you're pretty cool. you big poop. :)
