Oh blurg.

Nothing much to say... Still feeling the exact same way I did last night. You can read the Oma Homework, which is a "do on your own" thing today, here.

Sarah sent me this at work today (in the middle of a much longer, much appreciated email) and I dig it. Thought I'd share.

Wait

Not so in haste my heart!
Have faith in God, and wait;
Although He linger long,
He never comes too late.

He never cometh late;
He knoweth what is best;
Vex not thyself in vain;
Until He cometh, rest.

Until He cometh, rest,
Nor grudge the hours that roll;
The feet that wait for God
Are soonest at the goal.

Are soonest at the goal
That is not gained with speed;
Then hold thee still, my heart,
For I shall wait His lead.

Have a peaceful night.

  1. I'm glad you liked it :)
    I had read it the night before last and it spoke volumes to my heart.

  2. Beautiful on many levels and a good reminder of who controls our days. So hard to remember, "not my will but His be done."
