"I'm pretty sure that burrito bowl was tainted" and other things I said to myself today

Remind me again why I thought it would be easy to get up at 4:45 and run for an hour?

Gee, it's dark out here. My calves are really crampy. I wish I ate a peanut butter sandwich before I left. Maybe a banana when I'm done. Hey, the sky's purple and it's a fingernail moon.

I wish I could just sit here and watch Good Morning America.

Oh crap, I didn't make all the copies I needed. It only took two days, and already I'm running to the English office in the five minutes before class starts to run something off. I'm such a winner.

Hmm... Nobody is laughing at my jokes.

Hmm... No one seems interested in what I have to say.

Hmm... I wonder what's on TV tonight.

Oh crap, I forgot the ant spray so now I have to sit on an anthill for the second day in a row.

Wow, I'm so happy we're having a fire drill during my lunch. Thanks God, and thanks to whatever special little snowflake set off the new alarm.

I'm pretty sure that burrito bowl was tainted and too old. Maybe I shouldn't have eaten it.

I can't believe the bathroom is so far away from my classroom. I need a better plan or less tea.

Freshmen seem to require a lot of energy.

I can't believe I didn't stop to use the bathroom before driving to pick up Ad. This might get ugly.

I'm so glad I'm home before 3:00 and I've already finished my 4.5 miles for the day. WAHOO!

Home for early day #2 and loving my new schedule. The days seem to go really fast for me, but there's no time to see anyone else or even to leave the room for more than a fire drill or a sprint to the bathroom. I hope it's a good year. It seems like it's going to be. How could it not be if I get to leave at 2:07?

My giveaway ends tonight at 11:00. There still aren't many comments. Be sure to go comment the post for a shot at some free custom printed postcards. Have a good night. It's time for me to pass out on the couch for a while.

  1. Good job for getting your running done and believe me, some of these thoughts go through my mind as well. ;)
