Now for something DELICIOUS: Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake

Hopefully you didn't come here looking for something healthy. I have to confess, this is one of my favorite things in the whole world, but it doesn't qualify as health food. My mom makes this all the time, and about a year ago I finally bugged her for the recipe. I believe my Grandma found it somewhere once upon a time. It's just DELICIOUS, and so easy.

I'm dreaming of it right now. Not actually making it, but dreaming about it. Maybe tomorrow morning...

Bisquick Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake

2 1/4 cups Original Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
Cinnamon sugar
Brown sugar
1 stick butter or margarine

Heat oven to 450 degrees F.

1. Mix Bisquick and milk until soft dough forms.
2. Turn onto surface sprinkled with Bisquick, knead several times. Roll out flat, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
3. Melt 2-3 tablespoons of butter/marg. Spread on rolled dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
4. Roll dough carefully into a log.
5. Cut remaining butter into pats.
6. Line the bottom of a round cake pan, pie tin, or baking dish with a layer of brown sugar. Place pats of butter at regular intervals across the bottom of pan, about 1/2 to 1 inch apart.
7. Use a piece of thread to cut dough log into rolls. Place rolls side by side in pan on top of brown sugar/butter. Edges should be touching, like the photo.
8. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
9. Placing either a plate or a cookie sheet over the top of the pan, grip both sides of the pan (with oven mitts, if it's still hot) and flip the pan over so the rolls come out of the baking dish. Melted butter/brown sugar should be on top.
10. Let cool, then cut apart and serve!
