A quick link I've been wanting to post--when I run (in addition to my favorite playlist), the best thing I've found to listen to is the Podrunner podcast. It keeps my pace consistent, I can choose exactly how many BPM I want--I find that 150-158 is perfect for me--and best of all, it's free! So here's the link:

Make sure once you've downloaded it to make sure that iTunes syncs your podcasts with your iPod. To do this, click on the device when it's plugged in, then the Podcasts Tab, and check the "sync all" box.

It doesn't update automatically unless you set it that way, but you can check back from time to time and see what's new. It will work on any iPod. I love that I never have to mess with it once I turn it on--no skipping songs or breaks in between. It's basically one long continuous set, all at the exact same pace. It would be great for any kind of workout. Most are random techno, but there are a few that are tribal, jazzy, and who knows what else. Enjoy!
