Fondue de Mayo

I love my family! We had such a great girls' night, we decided to make it happen more often. I really hope so. It's nice to get together with the fam for any reason. Tonight we took advantage of the Ladies' Night Out special at The Melting Pot.

I am so stuffed.

I'm totally gonna barf. Okay, not really, but I'm like just this side of barfing. In a good way.

Here are some of the pics... Love Kayla with the fondue fork in her mouth, especially.

Also, this. On the way home, I pulled over because I was so taken with the sunset. It feels like summer and it can't get here quickly enough for me.

Did you do anything fun to celebrate the big sink-o?

P.S. You have until 7:00 Pacific time tonight to comment my giveaway post for a chance to win a free book. May the random number generation be with you. Amen.

  1. Christopher was busy until like 8:30 and so was my best friend's hubby. So when they got home, we had a late dinner of tacos, rice, and some margaritas. [virgin!] And some banana cake that she found a recipe for when searching cinco de mayo food. That's it. It was good. But I wish I was at the melting pot last night!

  2. We did go out for cinco de Mayo...It was fun, we went to a mexi restaurant in EG across the street from the new Bel Air...I don't remember what it's called. Any whooo, it was good and inexpensive. Shrimp quesidilla for WAY cheap! We all ate and had beer for under $30. Que Bueno!
    Aight...hasta luego!

  3. We didn't really have anything to do with the holiday... but it was a funny coincidence to be out at the same time. Midtown was all blocked off. Beck, that restaurant is good, and I am pretty sure some people who went to high school with us (Mario M and Lisa?) own it.
